Scottish-born, originally from Perthshire, central Scotland, Nicki has travelled widely and also worked internationally, in Events and Management, bringing her skills to the company in the fields of Catering, Marketing and Event Co-ordination.
Before starting her original company, Highland Lodges, Nicki worked and lived overseas in Japan, Hong Kong and New Zealand. She is a competent Japanese Speaker.
In addition to running BARNETT BAKER, she is a Consultant and Events Co-ordinator, lending her experience looking after guests at various independent events and at specific venues.
She was a key part in the running of the events at a venue which was awarded Best Wedding Venue in Scotland 2015.
Nicki personally oversees and is actively involved with all Bookings made - this is why she has put her name to it.
In 2013, Nicki was asked by the Scottish Country Sports Tourism Group to take on the role as Customer Care course Trainer developed for those involved with country sports in Scotland. She is a regular guest speaker for events involved with country sports run by BASC and Scottish Land and Estates.
Nicki has an MA(Hons) from Aberdeen University, Tesol Qualified Teacher, LANTRA Trainer and holds certificates in Food Hygiene, Wedding Planning and is a workplace First Aider.
